Hi I have lymphedema in my right leg due to ovarian cancer surgery and radiation. I am still dealing with it but try to accept it. It has been since 2001. Can you give me some ways you deal with it? Diet exercise lifestyle? Thanks, Sandy
Hi Sandy, you are a strong girl, first of all congratulations for keeping it up after such a long time and looking for ways to get better!
The only thing I did for a long time for my lymphedema legs was to wear compression stockings all day – do you have those?
I have not done anything else yet what would be the standard treatment (wrapping, massage), and at the moment, my diet, exercise and lifestyle would need BIG changes, but 7 weeks ago I started to do 4 simple things and I already have some spectacular results! For the details, please see this post: https://lymphedemafree.wordpress.com/2015/09/15/progress-after-one-month
All the best, and let me know how it goes!
Andrea
